Can Guinea Pigs Eat Sakata Sweet Melon?

There is not a lot of information available on this particular melon. We were able to determine that it's in the same family as other melons that we can eat, such as honeydew and cantaloupe. Like other melons, this one is also high in sugar, so only feed it to us 1-2 times per week.

If you listen closely, you can hear our sounds of contentment.

As you probably guessed from the noises we made in this video, we give Sakata Sweet Melon 5/5 stars for being sweet and delicious!

    1. Yes, you can feed us pears 1-2 times per week. Don't feed us pears more often than that because they're high in sugar. We have a review of pears here:

  3. My guinea pigs adore the green parts of the melon, which contains less sugar. But that doesn't mean that they would ever leave the red part of the melon :)
