Today we're going to review pluots. We've already tried
apriums, which is another hybrid between a
plum and an
apricot. The difference between the two is that pluots
more closely resemble plums than apricots. Since both plums and apricots should only be fed to us
1-2 times per week, it's safe to assume this applies to pluots as well.

Did you just sneak a piece off the plate after I declared it's all mine!? |
Pluots are delicious! 5/5 stars!
Are guinea pigs more comfortable in dark or light? Sugar and Cinnamon seem to like running around under a blanket, or having one lifted up a few inches but still dark. But I thought that guinea pigs weren't nocturnal. Why is that?
ReplyDeleteGuinea pigs are not nocturnal; we tend to adapt to the sleep schedule of our humans, more or less. As for our preference, we generally prefer low light so we feel hidden and safe.
ReplyDeleteAlso, do piggies prefer tiles, hardwood, or carpet for their running around?
ReplyDeleteWe personally prefer carpet. It feels nice under our feet, and it doesn't make a lot of noise.
DeleteWe switched to fleece bedding yesterday, and the piggies seem to love it! We had some problems getting it to stay in the cage though. How do you secure fleece to the kind of cage that has a few inches of plastic followed by bars?

ReplyDeleteIn our cage, the humans bought fleece that's double the size of the bottom of our cage so it can be folded over once. The pigloos and Snak Shak go in the corners and help keep it in place. That's all that's needed to secure it.
