Wow, this is exciting! We get to try our own version of pizza, which humans seem to love!
Piggy pizza party!
Wait... Is this safe for guinea pigs to eat? Let's take a look at the ingredients:
That doesn't look good.
Turns out we can't eat this treat. There are three main bad ingredients here:

For getting our hopes up and turning out to be full of bad ingredients, we give Sunseed Vita Prima Pizza Garden Veggie 1/5 stars.

  1. Yes, it did look a bit suspicious from the front of it...also there's a rabbit on there too!

    1. Good catch! We always get suspicious when we notice that treats aren't made with guinea pigs specifically in mind.

    2. And also it looks "nice" to humans but we guinea pigs aren't humans at all! I wish they wouldn't make stuff that is bad for us.

  3. Guinea pigs can be perfectly happy without all those yucky pet store treats. They'll be healthier and happier with a carrot slice or a watermelon slice. :-)

  4. Do you buy the treats then look at them? Seems like a waste of money. o-o

    1. Maybe they get it for free from the company so they can do a review on them. They're doing this for their blog so it's not a waste of money.

    2. Sometimes we do get treats for free from companies to review them. However, in this case, the humans bought them online, aware there was a very good chance the treats they would contain bad stuff and couldn't be fed to us. Even if they contain bad stuff, we don't consider it a waste because it gives us an opportunity to explain why many pet store treats are bad. Regular readers like you may already know that you shouldn't feed eggs to guinea pigs, but new pet owners may not. We're hoping that by reviewing these products, people who are still learning about guinea pigs will run across our review in Google and think twice before letting their piggies eat it.
