Happy Guinea Pig New Year!

It's been a great year here at Cavy Savvy, which has been thanks to you! We love our readers and hope our piggie rantings have helped you understand us a little bit better. We're excited for a new year of trying new foods, more givesways, and new product reviews! Happy 2013, everyone!
What's in our glass, you ask? It's not champagne...
It's organic salad mix with carrots slices! That's our kind of party!
From the three of us here at Cavy Savvy, happy new year to all our loyal readers!

  4. I was catching up on all the posts you have done in the past because I just started reading this blog recently, and cam across you orange review. Sugar and Cinnamon love the flesh and I want to try giving them the peel, but I've read that the peel can be sprayed with pesticides to keep fresh. Is that true, and would it still be okay to feed my piggies?

    1. Hi Katrina, Sugar and Cinnamon! We advise against feeding pigs orange peels if they aren't organic, although even if they are organic, it still might be unsafe, so to be honest, we are not really sure. We'll have to do some research and get back to you on that.

      Great question!

    1. Hi Daisy and Cress! Thanks for the link! We are glad you like our blog, and are really excited to read your blog! How do you two get along? What's your favorite food?

    2. We love celery! We wheek when we here the sound of the knife cutting, even if it isn't celery! We usually get along fine, as we are sisters, but Daisy gives Cress the occasional nip, just to let her know who's in charge! When it's floor time, we follow each other everywhere!
Our blog is called Daisy and Cress the guinea sisters :-)

  6. Hi! I am a new guinea pig owner and am now blogging. Are tissue boxes safe for most baby
    guinea pigs?

    1. I don't see any problem with letting baby guinea pigs play with tissue boxes, although you can supervise their play time if you're concerned.
